L'arrivee du raid a concordia. Ce convoi de ravitaillement vient de Dumont D'Urville situe a 1100 km sur la côte du continent. L'euphorie que represente ce moment est partagee par les membres de la station comme par ceux du raid. La base Concordia situee au Dome C - 75 degre S - sur le plateau Antarctique est une station de recherche permanente franco-italienne. Avec la base americaine Amundsen Scott au Pole Sud et la Russe Vostock, Concordia est une des trois stations à l'interieur du continent Antarctique. Elle a ete construite grace à une collaboration entre l'IPEV - Institut Polaire Français Paul-Emile Victor et l'institut Italien l'ENEA Ente per le Nuove Tecnologie, l'Energia e l'Ambiente .
